Elise Poinsenot
Everyone has their own story
Born in Montbéliard in 1982, Elise Poinsenot lives and works in Franche-Comté. A painter, she has evolved since her childhood behind the scenes of theaters with her father and among her grandfather's watercolors. Her atypical background, from horticulture to Art History and Art therapy, offers her technical expertise and sensitive observation, so since 2007, she has been anchored in numerous workshops.
The portrait as the basis of his painting gradually gives way to a reality of bodies in their intimacy of being. These models, these others who surround him, are chosen for their disposition to be, in their solitude and their strength. Concentrate on who is there, the ailments of the body, from within and without.
His work is intended to be a dialogue between the character and the painter like secrets to be uncovered, journeys in the light of the skin.

Born in 1975, Nove is from Belfort, the city of the Lion of Bartholdi and the fortifications of Vauban. Self-taught, hyperactive, militant, convinced utopian, repentant alcoholic, messenger of benevolence, Nove places his eyes, his aerosol bombs and his pencils on this contemporary world.
His words exceed his imagination, in cities and countryside, on walls and canvases, from pen to poscas, designating himself as an artist who is constantly searching and learning!
Attached to the original values of Hip Hop "Peace, Love & Unity" which he transmits within his work and his meetings, "Que du Bon" tattooed on his arm, perfectly sums up the character!

Their daily lives and their existential questions are real sources of inspiration. But it is at the heart of the observation of the great masters of painting, the aesthetics of neo-classical and Art Nouveau, that the jointnture between the aerosol and the paint makes sense.
From wall to canvas
The walls exude the souls that have touched them! The history of Art offers us a keen observation of human thought and its sensitivity. The duo draws inspiration from it for certain places while including a contemporary thought of meaning and essentials.
The letter and the body towards the graphic essentials
Deconstructing the initial structure of the word while keeping its rhythm, inviting the construction of the body outside the field, the possibility is offered to the collective by cutting the canvas. It is on large formats that the story develops and through selection that it becomes clearer.
Elise & Nove direct their work towards this search for an ever more fused composition, revealing flat areas working towards abstraction.
